Students of Z. P. P. S. Jamathi (bk) celebrates 'Krisna Janmastami' Janmashtami is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Krishna. Janmashtami is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Sri Krishna. Krishna Janmashtami is also known as Sri Krishna Jayanti, Krishnashtami, Gokulashtami and sometimes simply as Janmashtami. Hindus observed this festival to celebrate the birthday of their beloved God Sri Krishna. The birth of Lord Krishna marks the end of inhumanity and cruelty over mankind. Krishna is a symbol of righteousness. Sri Krishna was born at mid-night of this day. Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the Ashtamitithi, the eighth day of the dark half or Krishna Paksha of the month of Shraavana. He is considered as an avatar of the God Vishnu. Our Indian culture is known for various festivals. Today we are celebrating Holi! Holi is a Hindu spring festival celebrated in the India, also known as the "festival of colours". It signifies the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. Holi celebrations start on the night before Holi with a Holika Dahan where people gather, perform religious rituals in front of the bonfire, and pray that their internal evil be destroyed the way Holika, the sister of the demon king Hiranyakashipu, was killed in the fire. Hi friends, I recently got an opportunity to present my work at Tejas symposium 2018. My topic was 'Using action song as warmer in English lesson.' It was a nice experience for me. I learned so many things. Before my presentation, I got a chance to attend the plenary session about reflection engaged by Adi Rajan sir. It was so impressive!
